BOIC TOD PLD 2023
Kia ora to whoever may view this blog post! Nau mai haere mai! Today I am writing about the first teacher only at BOIC for 2023. I was apprehensive coming into school for the first day back at school for 2023. Despite this, a lot of my apprehensions were allayed when having the opportunity to connect and catch up with my friends and colleagues at school. This was extended further when we began our PLD which was primarily focused on whakawhanaungatanga. The focus on checking in with how we were going and our feelings around how we felt and the end of the year and what we were hoping for in the year ahead was a good reminder to be hopeful for good things this year. A personal highlight for the day was creating the hoi and feeling encouraged to look at our foundations as an individual and our strengths in our roles as teachers.
